The Blomberger Holzindustrie GmbH is the foundation on which the Delignit Group stands. This company developed in 1893 at the Blomberg location in east Westphalia from a contract saw mill established in 1799. This is also where the Delignit material itself was created and consequently where the world’s first beech plywood panel was developed.
Today, Delignit is produced in Blomberg, which is also where it is further processed into application-specific system solutions and from where punctual deliveries are made. The central administration, e.g. research and development, strategic purchasing, marketing and sales and quality management, are also based in Blomberg.
Blomberg is also where Delignit AG is headquartered.
